- I live in Burlington, VT. My husband Andrew and I started dating in 2002 and married at the end of 2005, with our dogs as our bridesmaids. We went to college together, but never had anything to do with one another there and didn't connect until our ten-year college reunion. (Those admissions-office stories are not tall tales after all!) In Burlington I teach at Champlain College. We have no kids - on purpose - but lots of animals who keep us very entertained.
