More About Me

Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:

I believe myself to be a very tender heart-ed and compassionate person, therefore, I choose to abstain from any animal-derived product. I have eaten vegan for the last 7 years, the "good Karma" has kept me healthy and happy! It seems there are more delicious products and restaurants that make veganism easier than ever before!

I joined HappyCow Members Community because:

I enjoy reading the reviews on Happy Cow whenever I travel to make great eating choices, I realized my own opinions could help others that are traveling or eating out!

Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:

Never really went somewhere I didn't like, but I can say different places have better options! Guacamole and chips in Mexico is seriously my dream food, indian food in Japan (KoKo's Kitchen), ice slushies in Hawaii, and New York literally has vegan eats within steps of where you're at! I'd love to go to France, hopefully by then they'll have accepted veganism a bit more!

Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:

Spaghetti has always been my favorite food, simple pasta with marinara sauce and a slice of artisan bread. Indian food tho, wow and yum. Also Mexican food. But seriously, if it's vegan I'll eat it!

Here are some books, movies, magazines, and my favorites that I would recommend to other HappyCow members:

Shoot, were do I begin!? Skinny Bitch, Starch Solution, Fast Food Nation, The China Study, Artisan Vegan Cheese and seriously read everything! Cowspiracy, Forks Over Knives, Fat Sick and Nearly Dead, Earthlings, and Vegucated. These are a few I can think off the top of my head but PLEASE read everything!
