Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
It is the most healthy and kind way to eat in my opinion - both for our bodies as humans, to the animals, and for the earth.
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
I need help and support transitioning to veganism. Would love to find local like minded individuals as well as people both near and far with advise on going vegan.
Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
I loved Puerto Vallarta, Mexico! I would love to go oh-so-many places, but at the top of my list are Maine, Italy, Germany, and France. Also, I'd love to go to both Thailand and Vietnam for their cuisines and culture.
Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:
Pad Thai with Tofu, almost any Indian dish, zucchini pasta with tomato sauce, butternut squash ravioli with sage, strawberries, asparagus.
Here are some books, movies, magazines, and my favorites that I would recommend to other HappyCow members:
