More About Me
Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
For the animals, for the environment, and to encourage places to cater more to veg*ns.
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
To find vegetarian places to eat and occasionally shop. I also have vegan friends and it's nice to be able to check that a place is vegan before I suggest meeting there.
Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
In Leiden I especially like the cake at ROOS Taste & Smile, the vegetarian menu at India Way, and the Eazie wok restaurants. I haven't explored Lima's eateries much, but the Mantra Indian restaurant in Miraflores is pretty good.
Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:
Indian food, stir fry, various Tivall products (esp. their TVP, Oosterse wokblokjes and sesame nuggets)
