More About Me

Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:

I eat vegan, no bad cholesterol in my diet, my cholesterol levels now help eliminate heart disease, stroke, also cancer of the colon and stomach, and diabetes. No animals are killed inhumanely for my food. I have more energy, my digestion has improved tremendously, no more heartburn. No chemicals in my food, no processed foods... I feel good!

I joined HappyCow Members Community because:

To easily find good places where I can eat the food I prefer, and to learn from the experiences of others. For excellent recipes and worldwide restaurants and health stores. And to share the good places I find and be honest in my findings.

Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:

K-Vegan, Los Cristianos, Tenerife. burger Mel, Santa Cruz Tenerife... HELVEG, Geneva... gourmet Vegan Restaurant.... didi cafe my very favourite in Albufiera, portugal. Rainbow cafe, Cambridge, museum cafe, Ipswich, U.K. Veggie Red Lion, Gt. Brikett, Ipswich.

Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:

Quinoa, Chia seeds, Spicy Tofu, Nutritional Yeast, Almond milk, all vegetables, all fruit, nuts, grains.. majoul dates. The variety is endless.

Here are some books, movies, magazines, and my favorites that I would recommend to other HappyCow members:

Deliciously Ella by Ella Woodward.... A brilliant book. The Dehydrator Bible

Hi! I read your review on Didi's Cafe in Albuferira. I am going there in August, but I am kind of scared I won't have anything to eat for two weeks! Do you have any recommendations for me?
