What a wonderful way to bring up the topic of emptiness.
Of course there is nothing to be said on this topic.
In terms of Mahayana culture, they need to go vegan and stop toying with animal products. They also need to get rid of their animal skin drums. They do not seem very enlightened when they sport an ego of ethnocentrism which divides their culture by race. And why are there so many rituals, dharma dolls and other vestiges of past empires. I thought Buddhism is a study of the present, not the past.
This being said, I still view Mahayana Buddhism with adoration. The Buddha, however, does not need to be incarnate to progress this wonderful culture. As a culture they must remove the racism, the sexism, the hierarchy and the non vegan practices to be more in the present. Then, they might be able to teach enlightenment.
