Help! I have a friend who has arthritis and is looking for a dietary solution. Which vegan foods are good for arthritis and which are bad? Does anyone know anything about this topic? Any recommended reading or particular diets to recommend?
Avoid oils in your cooking and keep other plant fats to a minimum (such as avocado, olives and nuts). Add as many anti-inflammatory foods as possible such as onions and garlic. My husband's severe back pain has disappeared (and also the arthritis in his hands) by consuming lots of anti-inflammatory foods.
