I'm going to Germany in the fall with my mother and am going to start my research now to find the most veg friendly eating places I can.

Hi,
I find Germany one of the less challenging countries to visit in Europe in terms of vegetarianism. This is reflected by the number of entries on this website for Germany.
Something else quite useful is looking at the website for some of the health food shops listed. Some of them are chains and have lots of branches not listed on this website. Thus if you are stuck it may be worth looking at those.
