Vegan Travel Suggestions Discussion Forum
In January I'm moving to Tianjin to carry out a 12 mth contract. If anyone else has experienced being vegetarian out there, or any other Chinese city, do you have any advice on how to get by? Do you they do organic/bio dairy produce in their supermarkets - like in Europe?

Hi there,
I travelled through china for three weeks a few years ago. I relied on happy cow listings and did well in finding restaurants. Also often near Buddhist temples there was a veg restaurant. Try searching out an ex-pat community as they will likely know of grocery stores etc that stock what you want.
