- Wonderful Vegan Delights
The extensive vegan menu is scrumptious with options for single dish servings or large combination platters served atop delicious injera. True to good Ethiopian food, some dishes are spicy but are usually coupled with a vegetable cool-down on the side. The appetizers, like the veggie sambussas, are heavenly, crisped to a lovely golden hue. The salads, such as beets and potatoes drizzled in olive oil and lemon, are also delightful. They offer an assortment of nice teas and some tasty sodas. For religious reasons, they do not serve alcohol, but note that all dishes marked vegetarian are also vegan. There are meat-based dishes on the menus, but since half of the menu is vegetarian-vegan, it is difficult to not find something wonderful to eat.
