- Vegetarian / Vegan Café within C.A.T. Machynlleth
We visited on 5th July 2014. All offerings in the café are vegetarian and an increasing number are vegan. The vegan chef has the aim of making the café “mostly vegan”. The vegan food was excellent. (Visitors are also allowed to eat their own food in the café, as long as it’s vegetarian or vegan!) As the café is within the grounds of the “Centre for Alternative Technology”, you may have to pay the admission fee before you can reach the café. However, CAT is also well worth a visit.
