- Convenient for vegans
A small cafe serving coffee and sandwiches right next to the ferry dock at Ijplein – impossible to miss. Unfortunately it is not fully vegan or vegetarian, but the menu is divided into vegetarian, vegan and non-vegetarian sections, so it's easy to choose exactly what you want. There are 4 vegan sandwiches, and 6 vegetarian options; I have uploaded a picture of the menu if you would like to have a look. Telephone ordering is possible. A fellow customer told me that a local newspaper has recommended this cafe for vegetarians, and must say I can see why! As the ferry from Central Station is free and takes only 5 minutes, it's also in a great central location.
