Visited Grassroots on a recent trip to Jacksonville. Very vegan friendly, natural foods grocery store, friendly knowledgeable staff, convenient location, and off street parking. Clean, well stocked, moderately priced, with a decent beer selection, including some from small breweries. Highly recommend; even my non vegan/vegetarian friends liked it. Smoothie & juice bar with some prepared foods, locally sourced produce when possible. Lots of good vegan options in both grocery store and in-store prepared foods. Located in historic Five Points neighborhood. Local parks nearby for picnic lunch opportunities. Close to freeways, downtown.
