The daily specials, soups and veggie of the day are particularly outstanding, some rival gourmet cuisine. My personal all-time favs at Green are the Buffalo wings, breakfast tacos, popcorn tofu po boy, onion rings, mushrooms, sweet potato fries, rolls and tofu breakfast tacos. Miss items no longer on the menu such as the Green nachos, Philly cheese steak, spring rolls and fajitas. Please bring back! Only other complaint is that some items taste blander than when the restaurant first opened such as King Ranch tofu and carne guisada. The cream gravy and chicken fried wheat meat could definitly use more flavor too. I still ocassionally order all of those but take home to add cumin and chili powder to the Mexican food items, black pepper, season salt and onion powder to the others. Whatever spices were used on their carnivore counterparts at the Jail House Cafe would be definitely welcome on the vegetarian versions. Otherwise the food is tasy enough to please even meat-eaters.
