Original Bavarian Bistro in Ainring, 30 Mins Bike-ride (or 10 mins car-ride) from Salzburg. This cafe and small restaurant offers a broad choice of vegan and vegetarian dishes: raw, cooked, salty and sweet -yes! Also a delicious home-made vegan ice-cream and gorgeous cakes are available! All dishes are organic (most ingredients come from the neighbourhood), sugar-free, freshly made -> that's why you might have to wait 10-15 mins, as everything they prepare or cook is really fresh. I never found dishes which cost more than 10€, so I'd say that, for its quality, Zallis is inexpensive. It is led by a couple which practices its ideals, not only speaks about them: you will touch and see this in each detail (from the herb garden up to the toilet). The best time to visit is during the weekend, I find (they're only open from Friday until Monday).
