- Pleasant Surprise!
First off, "Ital" is not short for Italian, but is rather a Rastafarian style of food. Small restaurant with maybe 8 chairs on a second floor. Short menu, with one or two main dishes available each day, one of which is always vegan. Vegan veggie burger also available. Several side dishes including fried plantains, but unfortunately a few such as the lentil balls which have such good reviews were not available. Delicious juices as well, including soursop and chlorophyll juices. We got a kale dish with coconut fried rice and a salad. Also, Christopher the owner was kind enough to give us fried bread fruit and the chlorophyll juice for free. Everything was awesome. My family of 11 (mom, dad, brother, sis-in-law, 4 nieces) left happy and full.
