  • Authentic Indian food!

I totally agree with Ellay concerning this restaurant. The food is an Indian authentic one even though less spicy, really inexpensive, generous portions and tasty. Staff is friendly but you have to ask carefully for dishes with no milk products (don't use the word "dairy" but "milk") if you are vegan and avoid dishes with the following words: Curd/Dahi (yoghourt) Doodh (milk) Makkan (butter) Ghee (clarified butter) Paneer (cheese) Malai (cream) Raita (yoghourt) Lassi (drink with yoghourt). The place is well located near Gare du Nord and you can take away, which is convenient if you take the train.
