• Great vegan/raw spot in Leblon

This place is a very conscientious vegan place, with an emphasis on live foods. We had the macadamia leek pate with raw crackers, and it was stunning. Our main pates were both raw pancakes, one with very creamy mushrooms and the other very crispy raw veg, both including salad on the side. It is a little pricey, but really not that different from anywhere else. The mains were all about R30-35. The only downside of this place in my opinion is that it's in the interior of a galleria, next to a theater, so it lacks atmosphere somewhat and can also less relaxed when lots of people are milling about before a show starts, but that's the only detractor for this place. In a nutshell the food is inventive and delicious and above all nutritious and a fair price for the quality you get.
