- Very nice, very vegan friendly
I am from Durham and go back to visit about twice a year. We can hardly ever eat out together because of the total lack of vegan food in the north. Finally this year we could eat together, at the Jumping Bean - LOTS of vegan options including desserts and vegan cheese. We had stew and a sandwich. MY parents had vegetarian options, me and my boyfriend had vegan options and i could even have gf bread. Perfect. The guy serving us (owner i think) new exactly what was vegan on the menu and was very chatty. SO glad someone filled the gap in the market and brought a well needed vegan cafe to Durham.
