This little gem boasts just one vegan sandwich on the menu, but it is so creative and delicious it's worth mentioning. Shredded beets, carrots, and cabbage are combined with homemade vegan pesto on toasted Ezekiel bread topped with sprouts. Don't miss the vegan passion fruit cheesecake for dessert! This health food store also offers a great selection of canned and dry goods such as grains, beans/legumes, nuts, and fruit, as well as condiments such as tahini, liquid aminos, and other staples in a vegan pantry. They also offer free alkaline water & WiFi. The ambiance is nice too, with a pretty ocean mural painted on the wall, and 3 cute dogs (companions of the cafe's owner) who wander around sweetly.
