I wouldn't add much to the above review (although, there are now vegan restaurant options in Jena, yay!!). They have lots of ready-to-eat stuff like vegan lunchmeats and hummus, etc. They also have a large selection of organic/biodynamic meats and cheeses (for those who do that), as well as lots of organic/vegan wine and beer. They sell fresh organic bread, but I do not believe this is every day. Extremely friendly!
