Not being of the creative cooking-type, my vegan options in the kitchen are pretty limited, boring really. So an opportunity to go to a restaurant where the whole menu was dedicated to vegan food seemed like heaven. There is an array of options, which was so difficult to choose from that we went back a month later to tuck into other dishes on the menu. This restaurant serves up great portions of home cooked, tasty classics. There is something on the menu for everyone. I had the raw food, yep they have a raw selection too, avocado cold soup to start. Followed by tofu mushroom stroganoff. Others had the homemade humus and dips and the creamy mushroom soup, followed by risotto and creamy mushrooms and potato gratin. The desserts were heavenly, warm pancakes with chocolate ice cream and crumble. What more could you ask for. Oh yeah, alcohol. The wines and beers were all vegan too. It wasn't a one off either, on our return visit we were served up generous portions once again of really tasty food. For someone like me who is a completely bore in the kitchen, this place is pretty special. It offers a wide range of options, lots of yummy desserts and you leave with your belly fully of good, wholesome home-cooked food. What more could a girl ask for? Well, maybe a little room so I don't throw my pint glass of water across the room with my swinging bag. Other than the sheer embarrassment of the whole restaurant staring at me for those few seconds I loved my night out being vegan and not worrying about whether I was going to starve on a salad.
