- Buffet with a view
Hermans is a mostly vegan buffet (except on all vegan night - Wednesday?) with a great view out over the water. You'll need to book ahead as it's very popular, but it's no problem as the staff all speak English. Dessert and drinks are sold at the register, but the rest is an all you can eat self service buffet, which includes tea and coffee (Swedish coffee, not espresso). The self service aspect includes a scullery where you are expected to scrape and stack your dishes, empty your glasses etc so that the staff can wash them. The buffet food is pretty good but the desserts are pretty bad, very much in the undercooked or raw food vein. Even the cooked ones were basically warm dough. Overall I enjoyed Hermans and would happily eat there again.
