- quality does not match the price
Wanted to try the delivery service 2 weeks ago but unfortunately, they don't deliver to all districts so we headed there this week. We had two different pizzas (Fiore and Pomodori + extra champignons), Spaghetti Carbonara, a mixed salad and tiramisu for dessert. The pizza was nicely crunchy (thin crust Italian style) but tasted pretty bland due to a boring tomato sauce and the very economical amount of vegan cheese it was topped with. Luckily, home made chili oil cn be requested. The Carbonara sauce was dominated by the (sweet) taste of its main ingredient, soycream, and lacked seasoning too. The salad is not worthy of detailed description eiher. While the main dishes were rather average to slightly disappointig - especially for that price - the tiramisu was lovely & made not only the cow but also us happy :) not too sweet, nice creamy consistency and appetizingly presented. The staff was very friendly, cared for us attentively and tried to answer our questions. This said, we did not get a convincing answer to why many originally vegan dishes such as Pasta aglio olio are significantly more expensive (+2 EUR) on the vegan part of the menu than on the omnivore part. The feedback we gave after being asked for it was not accepted but the waiter rather tried to defend the status quo with statements like "All other guests like it that way" suggesting that it can't be that bad. Altogether, the quality of the food does not match the prices. We're left with the all too familiar feeling that we are not paying for the food but vor the trendy label "vegan". Diappointing.
