OVO VEGETARIAN. The standard economy rice stall. NOT BUFFET! Economy rice is a plate of rice and some pre cooked dishes to add then you pay for that amount based on that one plate. Buffet is paying one set price and eating as much as you want. They have hawker style ala carte dishes that you can order as well. Food are decent, taste wise and price wise. Big amount. Too oily for me. Environment is okay, quite dirty for a shopping mall. If you like the typical asian hawker stall environment, this is for you (albeit indoors). If you're looking for somewhere more comfy, stay away. Tons of choices for non-vegetarian friends. Tables are shared with other stalls. HOW TO GET THERE Go to the basement. From the McDonald's entrance, enter the lane next to the KFC, follow that lane and go straight until you see Liew Chai Vegetarian on your left. Signage is not obvious. Opposite the Chinese Muslim noodle shop. TIP Go during lunch hours (12:00pm) or dinner time (7:00pm) for freshly cooked economy rice dishes.
