• Supermarket with many vegan options

Chances are, that even as a vegan or vegetarian, you will have to go to the supermarket now and then :-) While it is never a totally pleasant experience, as you have to walk through aisles with animal products and experience the smell and sights, there are some supermarkets that at least offer something for vegans and vegetarians as well, Village grocer in Bangsar (located in Bangsar Village) is a great example of this. I do not know if their other outlets also have this new offers, but since March 2014, they have been offering a wide range of vegan and vegetarian products: - Vegan Cheeses from Cheezly and Follow Your Heart - Vegan slices and sausages from VBites - Soy yoghurts from ALPRO - Lots of non-dairy milks, including organic varieties - Vegan and vegetarian burgers, roasts, and other mock meats Of course, they also do offer fresh produce and they do have a good organic section.
