  • Confusing and ridiculous set-up

The problem with my visit was that there are two venues called Govinda right next to each other, operating at the same time but bizarrely independently. This was compounded by the fact that one of them is described as a 'lancheria', which doesn't really have a translation in English and so it's difficult to understand what you should expect to be able to buy in which. On top of that, only one of them appears here and on Trip Advisor, and also on Google Maps so I had no reason to think there were two. I wanted the lunch buffet but unfortunately from the direction I was coming I saw the other one first. It was smaller than I expected and I could see no buffet, but I thought they must just have changed their offering. I settled for having a vegan burger, which was nice enough but unbelievably slow to be made and also expensive. I finally realized that something was going on when I saw Govinda wifi and asked for the password, but they said it was from the place next door and didn't know. So after the very slow burger I went round there but was too late for the buffet, which was very frustrating. It's incredibly bizarre that they don't just knock through the partition wall and offer the different options in the same space, let alone not even share the wifi. Note that Happy Cow is forcing me to give it at least two stars because it is vegetarian, even though there is no difference between eating dairy products and eggs and eating meat, and also even though it was a horribly stressful experience.
