The cook at Calabacitas is wonderful. The food is always fresh and clean. Each day her menu varies and she is very creative in her menu preparation. For 90 pesos ($7USD) you get juice, homemade bread with salsa, soup, salad, your entree, dessert and tea. Always delicious. 2 days a week she offers a vegan menu. If you are vegan, you can ask her to accommodate you on other days and she usually can. Her door is a bit hard to find.. She hangs a green chalkboard on the door with the days menu. It is right next to a coffee shop. Go. You will enjoy it. Vegetarian, vegan or not. Everyone enjoys her food even serious meat eaters. Try it. Only open M-F 1:30-3:30ish
