- Excellent food and service
We arrived in Taiyuan after a long drive and our guide helped us find the restaurant after we had shown her the Happy Cow listing. We went for an eggplant dish and the specialty Tofu treat that looks like a fish. With a single bowl of rice between the 2 of us we were well satisfied and the food was delicious. The staff were attentive and helpful. We would love to stay and work through the whole extensive menu. The dishes are beautifully photographed in the menu making selection easier for those without Manderin.
