Location: at Playa Venao, in the EcoVenao Hostal , just a short walk up from the Pacifc beachfront & yoga studio Menu & ambiance: An adventurous Panamá -specialities menu using locally sourced fruits &.veggies. This casual patio restaurant is open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch, dinner, cold drinks, coffee or dessert. It's a good viewing spot for howler monkeys and taking a break from the sun and surf--bright, clean with attentive service. I loved the "crema" purely veg soups on the menu daily, the dinner sized Eco Venao mixed veg salad, the espresso & passion fruit desserts . And the $5 lunch deal--a set meal with soup, main course & side salad , is a generously portioned bargain--easy to make vegan with rice and beans as the main dish. A comfortable venue for singles as well as families,with free wifi and a comfy "salon literaria" reading room on the terrace .
