• Pretty good options

We visited Ruggles on one of the coldest nights in Houston ever so the restaurant was uncomfortably cold. The service was excellent after we figured out that we had to place our order before sitting down. The cashier was fun, knew his menu and offered us options for vegans. Our food was brought out to us by a nice waiter who checked on us and filled our coffees regularly. The food was okay, a little bland, but it was nice to have many options. It will be fun to return and try some other entrees. Tonight we had the veggies tacos - it was presented beautifully but again the food was bland and they forgot my micro salad side. We also had the nut burger, they forgot to leave the cheese off so we had to peel that off. It was a little bland but more flavor then the tacos. The best part of the meal was the vegan, flourless chocolate cake. Rich and chocolatey.
