• soooooooooooo good!!!

Stopped here for lunch today. It's is a little placed tucked away in the corner off of the road. Sat outside on the covered patio, which is enclosed 3 sides and far enough from the noise of the road. It was so peaceful and I could hear birds and enjoy my food. All the entrees come with this delicious fluffy rice and the best cornbread I've ever had! I don't always like the vegan meats and often go either beans; today I decided to try the jerk "chicken" and I have to say that it is wonderful, the taste is fresh and spicy! :) perfect! I was given a sample of the BBQ and not only the taste but also the texture were phenomenal!! If you miss dishes like these, come here! They even have vegan mac&cheese!!!!!! I had some excellent collards as well. Basically, they gave me a huge dinner plate for a couple of bucks at lunch! I could only eat half. The hostess is super nice, the atmosphere is very relaxed and laid back. There was nothing fancy or uptight. It felt like having a cookout with friends :) Can't wait to come back and try some soups and the plantains!
