  • small and expensive portions of good food

The choice for vegetarians is quite narrow (check the menu on their website). We had the felafel, the hummus and the vegetarian dish of the day. Because of the price of the vegetarian dish of the day (20 euros), we assumed it was a very rich plate: first mistake. It was two fried balls of bulgur made also of onions and something else on a bed of spinach, carrots, and tomatoes. It tasted delicious, but if we were hungry, it would have been a problem. The same for the starters: good food (nothing exceptional though!), however the felafel were two balls only and the hummus definitely not enough even for one person (6 euros each!). The wine was also unbelievably expensive (42 euros for a decent Australian wine). To be honest, we didn't left that we were starving. This was just because we were not very hungry in the first place! Everything would have been perfect if each plates would have costed 1/3 less ... with portions doubled. I guess it is the location that makes the restaurant pretentious and overpriced. If you easily get cold, avoid the tables close to the windows, it's a freezing spot and (no idea why) there is cold air coming from the grating on the floor every few minutes.
