- A must-go for vegans in Florence!
A little weird to find as the map shows it slightly farther down the road. No biggie. Very excited to see so many vegan options at a place that seems like such an authentic Italian restaurant. Menu has English translations. Staff speaks English. We got the bruschetta and polenta apps and enjoyed them both. The bruschetta had tons of flavor. The polenta was a bit salty, but still good. We also had the vegan calzone and vegetable pizza with vegan mozzarella. Again, both were great! Wish the pizza had tomato sauce and was pre-cut, but I guess that's the Italian style? The calzone was HUGE and extremely tasty. We ended with dessert...basically a doughnut with sugar and chocolate sauce. It was pretty good, but also a little too salty. Also, by that point we already had so much bread we were about to explode. Total price: €35. Very reasonable. Would have been full and satisfied with just the pizza and calzone. Highly recommended for vegans visiting Florence!
