- fun environment, pretty good food
This place is a definite gringo or "foreigner" hangout place. We went on Friday night, there was loud dj music and people dancing going on in the back of the restaurant. We missed the raw vegan pizzas that was only served on Fridays so we ordered a baked vegan pesto extra large pizza instead. It took about 1-1.5 hour for the food to arrive because the place was so busy and that our whole wheat order was having issues. We ended up need to switch to gluten free crust. By the time the pizza arrived, the waitress told us that we get 50% off due to the wait. The pizza tasted good but the crust was like a biscuit, very hard and crunchy. The dessert, raw vegan minced pie, was very good. We paid $13 at the end - 50% off of $26 - for the long wait, good taste but bad crust, good dessert... Overall, this place offers a mixed bag for us so we are not sure if that we will go back again for a repeat of what we have experienced.
