- nice atmosphere but disproportionate prices
I ate at le potager du marais twice, once alone for lunch and once for dinner with my boyfriend in october/november of 2013. In general I would recommend a reservation. I liked the cozy atmosphere and the staff was very hearty. As a starter I ordered a spinach-chickpea soup which was tasty but rather too salty and already a bit cold. As main dishes I/we tried the spinach-walnut-lasagna, the seitan bourguignon and the vegetable stew. The lasagna was great (though a bit cold, too). The seitan was tasty as well, though it was a bit heavy - I would have preferred some vegetables with it and less seitan instead. The vegetable stew was quite nice, although some parts were stewed too long for our taste. As a dessert we REALLY enjoyed the mousse au chocolat. In general I/we enjoyed my/our stay at this restaurant. Still, in my opinion the meals are far too pricy for what they are. But being in a city like Paris, I would still recommend le potager du marais as one of the best 100% vegan options. Updated from previous review on Thursday December 12, 2013
