  • Authentic Singaporean

I was first drawn to this place due to the extensive vegetarian menu (most of which is vegan) versus the usual case in Asian restaurants who have the token spring rolls and one or two stir fry vegetables. They also had a lot of meat replacement options like "vegetarian chicken" and extensive tofu options. I didn't try these so can't comment. I used to live in Singapore and found the food very authentic. The roti prata was delicious and rather than the usual curry dipping sauce came as a big bowl of the curry with a variety of vegetables. At less than seven pounds it was filling enough to have as a single course dinner. The Singapore noodles were okay, but a bit bland for my taste. I know this isn't the goal of the Happy Cow app to rate this but my carnivore husband said his lamb rendang curry and chicken satay were excellent. I only mention this as it's a viable option for vegans with omni company. Decor was very simple and austere. Focus very much on the food! Server was lovely and willing to discuss the food.
