• Tasty holiday season's treat!

I was a bit skeptical before trying these.. since they basically sounded like just deep fried plain dough covered in powdered sugar. I finally got to try them out (not warm straight from the truck but from a friend who brought them) and they were actually quite tasty even without the powdered sugar! The dough was chewy and soft while the outside wasn't really greasy as I imagined. Without the powdered sugar the sweetness was just right too but if you like it sweet, go for the extra. Pity that I can't find them all year around.. so till next December! This truck seller knows what vegan is and if you ask them if there's milk or egg, they will ask if you are a vegan.. :) (I've heard that oliebols from many truck vendors are vegan - they are in every city/town - and from the bakery mostly not vegan. Double check before buying!)
