- Low key, but fair and cheap
If you're a tourist chances are you won't be in this area of the city. It is far from any tourist area which makes this place more heroic, because locals in Lima are fierce meat eaters and this place is already years in this area selling vegetarian food. They don't label the ingredients so if you want to find out which ones are vegan you will need some basic Spanish (ask for ingredients 'leche', 'queso', 'huevo' for milk, cheese, egg). The place is fairly big, and during lunch time gets really packed, it serves daily menu with 3 dishes for a very cheap price. Also has a small shop inside where you can buy some local vegetarian and vegan goods.
