• 1st Vegetarian Place In Newport!

They are so close to the station. Just a 5 mins walk away. We got there about 2 pm. We had the Pasta Arabbiata The Angry Sicilian with Vegan Parmasen cheese and the Samurai Jack Wasabie Beetroot Burger with Violife Cheese. The place was quite busy and so the orders took some time. I found the pasta a bit bland, oily and not spicy at all. The beetroot burger patty was interesting with the wasabi sause but could do with a bit more tomatoes. Would like the portions to be a bit more as well as the use of more vegetables in the food. Couldn't try the corn dog as they ran out. I like that they use biodegradable packaging for take aways. Would prefer that they use bottles instead of individually foil wrapped tomato and mustard sause. I did not like the idea of weighing/rationing of food (breaking a piece of pasta with the hand to get the weight right) and counting of each slice of tomato. I felt it was time consuming and unnecessary. They are open to suggestions and will take all inputs positively. Updated from previous review on 2016-12-12
