I saw a sandwich board and followed to where it pointed, down an alley near one of our favorite bars, Chakra. There was a group of people eating and socializing out front. Since we had already eaten, I made a point to visit on my next trip. It was worth the wait. I had difficulty choosing from the varied menu but I opted for the Vegan Kebab which actually comes in a pita pocket with faux meat, vegan mayo, tomatoes and lettuce for 5 euro. All the menu items range from 3-5 euro and they even offer chocolate or almond crepes. I ordered and chatted with a very nice vegan graduate student from Brazil while I waited. When it was ready I brought it over 15 steps to where my carvivorous friends were eating meat and cheese appetizers outside of the tea and beer bar. I will go back often.
