- Amazing choice and creative dishes
Wow what can i say. I am not a vegetarian or vegan but like to try different dishes and enjoy seeing how creative chefs can be with food. A problem the vegan community is all to familiar with. When it comes to vegetarian or vegan choices it can be difficult to find places that has variety beyond the fulafael and standard salads or typically dry and boring assortment of levaes and veg in a bowl and being told that's the only vegetarian/vegan option. I got word of that vegan cafe from several people and decide to try for myself. I entered with little to no expectations but was quickly I was amazed at that variety and creative dishes they offered. From I walked in my palette began to water at the deserts on display. They staff were extremely insightful in helping me with choices and recommended meals based on what my preference was knowing I was not vegan but open to trying new things. To steal a quote that on line media has spawned "they were on fleek" they served up a treat in chicken pea curry, the only downfall was that the plate was empty to quickly as I could not get enough quick enough, the portion was generous and just the right amount. Such great culinary skills were used to cook it that it's a dish I could eat once or twice a week every week and not get bored. Then the desert chocolate cake which was devine and no crumb was spared or wasted. Washed down after with a coconut latte , again. At the recommendation of the staff. This is one cafe that is on the up. Beautifully and simply presented it does not try to be anything fancy or pretentious. It is well laid out and gives an option I have not seen before, a vast choice of tantalising and gourmet food that is rivaled in the vegertian/ vegan community and options within a restaurant. I heavily recommend this place. Go and marvile at their menu . Why have I not seen or heard of creative places like this in Belfast. 5/5
