When we recently stayed in Roberts Creek, we visited the Gumboot cafe several times. The food is very different from its sister the Gumboot restaurant, but is as vegan friendly and as tasty. They don't have tofu for example but will use black beans to veganise dishes. They serve breakfast until noon and we had the Buddha benny which was veganised by using beans instead of eggs. I highly recommend it. The Thai noodle soup was also delicious, as was the quinoa salad and kale salad. The beet cake was vegan and is to be tried as well. There was a number of vegan desserts and they have soy milk on hand to make tea and coffee. As the Gumboot restaurant, they use their own organic veggies when possible. I recommend this place when passing through or staying in Roberts Creek. It is better than any other place on the Sunshine Coast.
