- A good choice
Rapa Nui is NOT a vegans' paradise. However, people are very friendly and you can easily get some vegan/vegetarian food: just ask! We tried this restaurant because it has a stunning ocean view and food is inexpensive (on the island food is expensive almost everywhere). We asked for rice and veggies, saying we are vegan and the waiter basically invented a "vegetarian menu": mixed salad, rice and sautéed veggies. We tried also fried camote and French fries. Everything was ok, servings rich. We came back two more times because staff were so nice! Recommended
