  • Vegan Gourmet Menu in a village

What a wonderful surprise I had when I stayed for one night in a lovely hotel situated in an old village between vignobles near the beautiful town Schwäbisch Hall. There it was: Vegan Menu on the Speisekarte. I couldn't wait to order it. First they served me a little vegan starter (they call it 'greetings from the kitchen'), the meal was: Potato-Coconut-Soupe with crispy carrots, Savoy leaves filled with porcorino mushrooms and kernels. Variation of home made sorbets (4 different ones, the Mango sorbet was so delicious) Price: €27, more than justified. The restaurant serves a good wine (home grown!) There is a beautiful terrace overlooking the Schlossgarden. The Service was efficient, quick and kind. Wish I could have stayed longer.
