• Best vegan hot dogs in Brasília

Definitely my favorite hot dog in Brasília. My regular choice, the stroganoff hot dog tastes just like regular stroganoff, but with the added advantage of crunchy cauliflower bits and a deliciously tangy and velvety cream. When you add their homemade parsley mayo (also vegan, obviously), you certainly won't feel like you need anything else in life. The mushroom option comes with mashed potato and competes with the stroganoff for first place. Other options include "Catioro Caipira", which comes with homemade sausage, vegan cheddar, and vinaigrette. Their "Catioro Jacando", with grilled jackfruit, has a very subtle flavor, but also pleases almost everyone. Their "Catioro na chapa" has a Goshen hot dog with excellent texture and regular "hot dog" taste, so I don't usually order it, but many other customers really enjoy that, since it tastes extremely similar to meat hot dogs. Plus, you can order it grilled or cooked in tomato sauce. Don't mind their modest structure - almost any Brazilian knows that the best hot dogs come from street vendors!
