  • Bit of a challenge for vegans

Garlic and Greens is probably a good choice for lacto-vegetarians in the mood for European fare, but vegans might not want to go out of the way to dine here. The extensive menu is heavily dairy-focused and they dont seem to understand the concept of catering to vegans. (My waiter actually refused my request for a pizza without cheese.) That said, there are a few vegan possibilities such as hummus, salads, pastas (if you can get then to hold the cheese), etc. I would recommend that vegans speak directly with the chef or the manager to be sure all is clear. But, to be honest, vegans might be better served at the Asian fusion place just opposite.
