  • disappointing...

After cooking dinners on a small single stove for 1,5 weeks, we were looking forward to some good healthy food and went here. Unfortunately we got a bit disappointed... The place calls itself a vegetarian restaurant, and it's not until you see the menu that you learn they also serve chicken etc. Maybe the idea of seperating the two parts is nice, in practice it doesn't work. The interior is nice and the terrace outside is very pleasant to sit on warm days. The food we got was good but not fantastic (we were quite hungry and ended up ordering way too much...). We did get a free appetizer which tasted nice. The choice is huge (even too much in my opinion), and it's very extensively written which items have milk, eggs etc. Perfect for vegans you'd say, but here comes the catch: The vegan soup we ordered got some cream in it, which the waitress couldn't tell was vegan or not; the supposedly vegan salad had goat's cheese, but also here the waitress couldn't tell what cheese it was... In general the experience was very strange. The place feels more like a restaurant where health freaks and dietics would go to because their menu is very elaborate on which items contain what, but in the end the restaurant don't care. It could be a really nice veg restaurant, but our experience was a letdown.
