The Whaletail's run with passion, not profit in mind. It's a solid Lancaster institution, a great cafe serving a wide array of veggie food and quite a bit vegan. It's especially child friendly, with toys and books and a sense of freedom for the kids to play and make noise. Do get a salad cresecent (half salad bowl) to add to eg soup or BLT - it's not on the menu!
