- Cheap and Cheerful buffet
This long-established vegan eatery's main drawcard is its great 20 yuan buffet, offering a wide selection of delicious and healthy Chinese vegan dishes. Take note; arrive early (within the first hour) to get it while it's hot and fresh, arrive later and the dishes will be limited. They also have recently opened an adjacent take-out place selling snack foods such as steamed buns. Above this is an a la carte restaurant with mains from 25 to 30 yuan. You must call ahead to reserve a table there. It is far away from any tourist sites (at least an hour away from downtown Hangzhou). But if you happen to be in the area, it is well worth a visit.
